About

Potatoes and Dill is a growing collection of small batch pantry staples inspired by Eastern European flavours and made with a visual, emotional touch. Each product starts from something familiar like kvass or chilli oil and becomes something new through careful recipe development and a bit of mischief. These are things to keep on your kitchen shelf and use every day but they also carry a sense of memory and meaning.

I’m Viltė, a Lithuanian-born artist and self-taught cook living in London. I started Potatoes and Dill in 2020 to share what it felt like growing up between cultures. First through TikTok, then through food. Over time it turned into supper clubs and now into products you can take home.

My background is in visual art and my work often looks at post-Soviet identity, nostalgia and domestic life. Potatoes and Dill brings that into the world of food. Each label tells a small story. The first kvass can features my Siberian cat next to a loaf of rye bread. A quiet image that feels like home.
